This was my final piece for Full Sail University. After many months of trying to find what I would possibly want to do within this industry I have finally decided on weapons artist, however being a prop artist would not be that bad. The shotgun's wood texture changed the most during the process of making this weapon and it really gave me an idea of how to model a gun per part. Week 2 I had a very rough and not so great looking wood texture on there, and the rust on the metal was everywhere. by week 3 I refined the rust and changed the wood texture completely and added a color to the bumps on the stock and grip parts of the gun. By week 4, for the final render, I completely took off the rust and made the painted metal somewhat shinier, only by a small margin.
